Mnemox ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Mnemox Chrome extension and the website mnemoxpro.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Mnemox:

Account information: Your email address and password (via our authentication provider, Supabase) are required to create an account — an account is required to use the Extension.
Memory content: When "Capture prompts" is enabled (on by default, toggle in the popup), the text you type into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot is captured, truncated to 1,000 characters, and saved as a "memory" tied to your account.
Authentication tokens: JWT access and refresh tokens issued by Supabase to keep you signed in.
Extension settings: Your "Capture prompts" and "Inject memories" preferences, stored locally in Chrome storage.
Billing information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we do not receive or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide the memory capture and injection service: when "Inject memories" is enabled (on by default, toggle in the popup), relevant past memories are automatically added to your prompt before it's sent to the AI platform you're using.
To authenticate you securely across sessions.
To generate vector embeddings of your memory content (via OpenAI's embeddings API) so semantic search can find relevant memories by meaning, not just keywords.
To manage your subscription if you upgrade to a paid plan.

3. Data Storage

Your account and memory content are stored in a secure database (Supabase). Memory content is also embedded and stored in a vector store (Qdrant) to power semantic search. Memory content is associated with your user account only and is not accessible to other users, except for members of a shared Team workspace you explicitly join.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except with the following service providers, as necessary to operate Mnemox:

Supabase: account authentication and database storage.
Qdrant: vector storage for semantic search.
OpenAI: your memory content's text is sent to OpenAI's embeddings API (model: text-embedding-3-small) to generate the vectors used for semantic search. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models per their API data usage policy.
Stripe: payment processing, only if you subscribe to a paid plan. We do not see or store your full card details.
Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Your Controls

Toggle "Capture prompts" off anytime from the popup to stop new memories from being saved.
Toggle "Inject memories" off anytime from the popup to stop memories from being added to your prompts.
View or delete individual memories anytime from the in-extension memory dashboard.
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual memories from the dashboard at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at ajjukak123@gmail.com.

7. Permissions Used by the Extension

storage: To save your account session, memory cache, and toggle preferences locally between sessions.
activeTab: To detect which supported AI platform is open in your active tab.
Host permissions (chat.openai.com, chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, copilot.microsoft.com): To run the content script that captures prompts and injects memories only on these supported AI platforms.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, JWT-based authentication, and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Mnemox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note them in the Extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
